President
Holly M. Nowak
MBA, SPHR
Holly Nowak launched HMN Resources in July 2015, after 20 years in the human resources field and more than a decade leading human resource service delivery and client relations strategies in the WNY region. She has advised hundreds of small business owners, executives, and management teams in a range of industries and sectors spanning private, public, and nonprofit on HR processes and practices. Her expertise is in designing comprehensive people process and team development solutions that speak to each organization's need.
An alum of Niagara University, she holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA with a concentration in human resource management. Holly’s certifications include the SPHR, FourSight Creative Thinking Profile, DiSC, and Certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials*. A member of national (SHRM) and local HR associations (BNHRA, WNYHRA), she was named a finalist for "HR Professional of the Year" in the BNHRA's 2010 HR Excellence Awards. Holly serves on the Boards of Kenmore Rotary and the Graycliff Conservancy, a Frank Lloyd Wright designed property overlooking Lake Erie just south of Buffalo, NY.

Kim Brostko

Kim Brostko is a strategic human resource professional with over 15 years of experience specializing in strategic talent management, organizational development, learning and development, and employee relations. Through her experience working at fortune 500 organizations, growing mid-sized business and consulting with entrepreneurial business, Kim has built expertise in providing impactful strategies to help companies thrive.
Kim was born and raised in the Buffalo area where she lives with her husband and three children. She has served in various role on the board of the WNY affiliate of the National Human Resources Association including President, and holds a Professional Human Resources Certification. Kim earned her BS in Biology from St. Bonaventure University and has successfully completed multiple courses in leadership, training development, and strategic HR.
Director of Operations
DeAnna Hine
DeAnna joins HMN as the Director of Operations bringing over 20 years of experience with design, project and client management. As part of the HMN, team DeAnna will focus her efforts on coordinating and managing workflow and processes that support the services offered by the firm. Offering day to day and project support to the internal team of HR professionals and clients alike, DeAnna will also manage communication, branding, and marketing efforts.
She brings with her great knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of communication, design, developing and maintaining processes and team leadership. She is perpetually motivated to improve efficiencies, a natural problem solver and a driven leader.
A WNY native and alum of Villa Maria College, DeAnna currently resides in Skaneateles, NY with her family.
